There is no post-typhoon Halola because Halola didnt say Konichiwa! The storm had been all over the place from the get go, but I was worried this beautiful little girl would decide during a typhoon was the time she wanted to enter the world. And she did! Since we thought the storm would hit and the bases would lock down I made my way to the hospital a little earlier than normal so I didn’t get stuck off base and miss it. The storm pretty much disappeared and weakened after a few hours. But we were already ready and waiting for baby girl to arrive as soon as mom was admitted! YAY! Its a Birth-Day !
Mama did so well! She hardly made a peep, and made giving birth look extremely easy. Since I’ve been through it twice before and once with twins, I’m extremely jealous on how well she labored. I’m telling you this mama is a damn rock star! She was even up walking around while she was dilated to a 7! There was no way you’d catch me being that awesome! My pain tolerance is pretty much non-existent. We talked, we watched movies, watched the beautiful sunset out the window!, we relaxed, then mama tried napping. Napping was the Que because it only lasted a little while, Baby girl has already decided she wont be letting mom and dad nap, ever! Miss Zariyah entered the world at 1:53am July 26 weighing 7lbs 2oz and 20 and a half inches long. Mom and dad are so in love, rightfully so, she is beautiful! Congratulations!! And thank you so much for allowing me to document the birth of your baby girl!
